FOSTERING WESTIES OF
SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN CLUB(These records start approximately January 2005. If you are a Club Member who has fostered since January 2005 and your Westie is not listed, please let us know so we can update the list.)
A completely untitled accomplishment that we feel is so very important, is that of being a good foster sister or brother. Many of our Westies are becoming expert foster siblings. They allow strange dogs to come into their homes. They not only tollerate them but they also nuture them. They help them learn how to be a good pack member. They play with them. They sometimes teach them lessons that cannot be easily taught by a human. Sometimes those lessons seem a little harsh but they seem to know just how "tough" to be on the new guy and when to give the new one a break.
We humans would like to give a special kudo to our fostering siblings. We couldn't do it without you.
