SAYING 'GOODBYE' TO YOUR FRIEND

CHILDREN

People sometimes overlook the fact that children do grieve the death of a pet. They usually grieve for a shorter period of time but it can be as intense as an adult's grieving. Parents should let relatives, friends, teachers and clergy know what has happened so they can support the child.
